First blog

I have begun an odyssey to Africa to teach art in an art school in Zambia. Teaching art, I know....Africa, I know next to nothing. I am up for the challenge, but I am 67 and retired from the to-die-for art teaching job because over 25 years, I had grown tired....but only of the things that drained my batteries. I still have juice to do the teaching part. That has led me to the gig in Zambia. At this point it would be good to give you the background story. You need to go to http://hundredgivers.com/2016/01/15/art-culture-and-healing-a-small-town-in-africa-forges-ties-with-northwest-artist/  . I invite you to follow this story as it unfolds. I am planning to leave for Africa mid May.
